Cookie Policy

Effective date: August 31, 2026  ·  Last updated: August 31, 2026

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how the Brock Transform marketing site and app use cookies and similar technologies. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers personal information more broadly.

2. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. "Similar technologies" includes your browser’s local storage, which works the same way. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are "first-party"; cookies set by another domain are "third-party".

3. Strictly necessary cookies

These are always on because the Service does not work without them. They are not used to track you across other websites.

CookiePurposeTypeExpires
sb-<project>-auth-tokenKeeps you signed in after you log in. Set by Supabase, our authentication provider.First-party · strictly necessaryPersistent — refreshed while you stay signed in, cleared when you sign out
sb-<project>-auth-token-code-verifierCompletes the secure login handshake.First-party · strictly necessarySession — deleted once login finishes
bt_consentRemembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so we do not ask again on every page.First-party · strictly necessary180 days

4. Analytics cookies (only if you accept)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they read, so we can improve it. These cookies are set only after you choose "Accept"on the cookie banner. Until then — and if you choose "Reject" — Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are stored. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, and we do not allow Google to use the data for its own advertising purposes.

CookiePurposeTypeExpires
_gaGoogle Analytics — distinguishes one visitor from another so we can count unique visits.First-party · analytics2 years (Google default)
_ga_<container-id>Google Analytics — keeps track of the current session so a visit is not double-counted.First-party · analytics2 years (Google default)

5. Changing or withdrawing your choice

You can change your mind at any time. Use the Cookie Settings link in the site footer, or the button below, to re-open the banner. If you switch from "Accept" to "Reject", we stop sending data to Google Analytics and delete the analytics cookies from your browser.

6. Local storage

In the app we store a few values in your browser’s local storage to make it work smoothly:

  • interface preferences, such as whether the help panel is collapsed;
  • the ID of an in-progress support chat, so replies reach the right conversation;
  • the ID of a running migration job, so we can show its progress if you reload the page.

These stay on your device until you clear them and are not used to track you.

7. Third-party services

When you subscribe, payment is handled on Stripe’s own hosted checkout page. Stripe sets its own cookies there under Stripe’s cookie policy, not ours. Aside from Google Analytics (section 4), which loads only after you accept, our pages do not load third-party trackers.

8. Managing cookies in your browser

You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Because the strictly necessary cookies are required, blocking them will sign you out and prevent you from logging back in. Clearing site data has the same effect.

9. Changes

If we change how we use cookies, we will post the updated policy here with a new "Last updated" date.
